Worry

I know Caroline has done a post on worry before couple of times but I don't think I have... (: Worry have been a problem for me over the past year. I worry about school, soccer, piano, church, etc. I know that God tells us not to worry or be anxious about anything but, in my flesh, I still do. There is no reason you can come up with that is a good enough reason to worry. God is always watching out for us and will never give us more than we can handle. I want to challenge you to not worry about anything but give thanks to God in everything. Have a great day!

Philippians 4:6 ~ " do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. "

Philippians 4:6&7

Philippians 4:6& 7~ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

These verses are really hard for me to obey. I worry A LOT!!!! I always want everything to go perfect. I always worry that something will go wrong: I'll get a bad grade, have a problem with a friend, I worry about pretty much everything. But this verse says that I shouldn't! It says that I should tell God my requests and I will have His peace in my heart. Lately, I have tried not to worry, and it is really amazing what a difference it makes. I just trust that Christ will take care of me, and He does. I don't need to worry about what happens to me, because Christ is sovereign and whatever happens is His will. I hope these verses help you as much as they help me!!!!
