Obey~Respect

Have you ever thought about what obedience and respect have in common? I never really put those 2 together until now. I always thought respect was saying yes ma'am and yes sir... you know stuff like that. I never really thought about respect starting with obedience. I have been wrong about this for my whole life and I am going to try to do better. By not obeying your parents or doing what they said with a bad attitude, you are being disrespectful. They are telling you those things because that's what they think is what's best for you. Whether you like it or not, it's true. I really want to challenge all of us to obey our authorities with a respectful heart. That's what God would want us to do. I hope you have a great day!
